"Ever since a very young age I've had an insatiable passion for food and the culinary world. Learning from my Greek/Cypriot mother, spending hours in the kitchen and perfecting my craft, my fascination with food quickly became an obsession. Sadly, I did not attend to my true calling as a teen, venturing into the real world from school, I was launched head first into an industry that gave me no joy.
After 25 years of being a mechanic, working day in and day out in an industry that lead to the demise of my mental health, I finally took a leap of faith into the culinary world I was made for. With my last pay cheque and the small amount of savings that I had to my name, Pete the Greek was born and I haven't looked back."

Absolutely amazing! Had some beautiful yiros today from Pete the Greeks food truck. It was amazing. As a greek myself, it was a 10/10, in fact, it was better than any other yiros that I have tried in Australia. Definitely recommend Pete the Greeks food truck!!! 10/10! The food was absolutely delicious. We had private catering and our guests were so full! People were going back for seconds/thirds with plenty leftover that we got to keep. The service we received was friendly and professional. Highly recommend!!
We tried the lamb gyros at the Pelican Waters market and my gosh it was absolutely amazing. The charcoal smokey flavour was so yum! Being able to watch the cooking process while you wait is an added bonus. Customer service 10/10
If you're craving authentic, no-fuss Greek food, Pete the Greek is fantastic. The souvlaki is a standout — tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, whether you go for chicken, lamb, or the vegetarian option. The pita bread is fresh and fluffy, served warm and just begging to be dipped into their tangy tzatziki or rich hummus. Highly Recommend.
